Welcome to Forever MX-5

Dsc_0024 Welcome to Forever MX-5!

After months of research and work, we're thrilled to tell you that the first issue is at the printers and will shortly be in your hands. We've gone around the world to find the very best in technical information, lifestyle products and destinations, and behind-the-scenes information on the MX-5 revolution in motorsports.

Owning an MX-5 Miata isn't like putting a conventional grocery-getter in the garage. You didn't buy it just to get from point A to point B - you bought it to enjoy the journey. We're here to help you get the most out of your car, from performance products and tuning tips to the very best roads and organized activities with your fellow enthusiasts.

If you haven't ordered your copy of Issue 1 yet, I encourage you to do so today. When you read it, you'll find that not only have we gathered information and great photos for you, but there's an explicit invitation to make Forever MX-5 your own personal travelogue. We've got several sections where we invite our readers to submit their cars, their road trips, and their club activities for publication.

Creating an MX-5 magazine is the best job in the world - all we have to do is hold up a mirror and let the hundreds of thousands of Miata owners out there see their own reflection in our pages. You're the story, you're the great shot, and you're the ones winning races.  I think you'll agree, it's worth checking out.

Welcome to the Forever MX-5 Blog

With the first issue of the magazine completed, it was time to finally spiffy up our official site with something more contemporary than the single subscription page we were using. We'll still be making little tweaks to it over the next week-or-so, but the framework is all in place.

From this, our official blog, we'll keep you in the loop as to what's going on behind the scenes of the magazine, inform you about the latest Miata-specific products and share stories of meets and events from around the country.

Forever MX-5

  • JEFF ZURSCHMEIDE
    Editor in Chief
Who better to edit Forever MX-5 than a guy that has a garage full of British relics, in addition to an NA Miata with 400,000 original miles.

    BARBARA BEACH
    Trouble
She's baaack! This time as a contributing editor so she can spend more time in the mountains with her 8 horses, growing horde of collies and a sprinkling of grandkids!

    BRIAN GOODWIN
    Tech Editor
Nobody does technical setup on an MX-5 Miata better than Brian Goodwin. Now driving an NC, he'll continue to lay down the facts on track and road tech.

    SCOTT FISHER
    Lifestyle Editor
Like doing things with your car as well as to it? Our resident bon vivant is here to remind us that the right destination can be almost as much fun as the road.

    RYAN DOUTHIT
    Publisher/Advertising
Our publisher and resident insurance risk. He's already started to transform a first-gen Miata into a Street Class Time Attack racer for the Redline series.
