Hot Lap in a Busted Miata

Here’s our ace driver doing his best with an under-the-weather turbo Miata at the 20th Anniversary Miata celebration, March 2009 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. His best recorded lap time was this 2:09 pass. Shortly after this, the radiator burst. After replacing that, the head gasket blew. Tough weekend for the car.
