Do we have a planned date for issue#4? I know there have been delays with the issues. It is a great magazine! Updates for subscribers/advertisers would be helpful.

I would need more details. Are you logged in when you try to download? Do you get an error when downloading or when you try to open the file?

Thanks for asking, John. #4 is coming, but we don’t have an exact printing date yet. The only think worse than not shipping on time, is promising a date that is missed. In the meanwhile, we have uploaded all of the issues from 1990 for download. The delays are not good, but we have a lot of work to do to get through this mess of an economy with our shirts in tact.

since we have no release date yet for issue#4, can subscribers have access to the digital versions?

    RICOCHET,

I did notice all the digital editions which is great, however as a current print subscriber I didn’t want to subscribe twice, was just curious if we could also browse the digital versions as well.

I guess you’re not back as you state in issue #1. I was ripped off on my original subscription for Miata Magazine and it sure appears that it has happened to me again. Any future issues since it’s been a year since the last? How about a refund at least? Also, it’s nice that you uploaded the old issues but now you want us to give you more money.

    Hi,
I cannot download the digital editions. Have sent two emails to you about it before, but with no respons.

When trying, nothing happens. In IE an blank page opens. In the other readers nothing happens.
If I try to download the file the download manager says the file ” signup.php” is saved!!!.
I get a feeling that these pdf files are corrupt or the PHP script that handles them is corrupt. Have tried with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. From three different computers. -Same result on all.
Have updated adobe reader, and also tried other pdf readers. Still no success.
Have you ever tried to download from this web site yourself?
Can anyone at all download and open them?
    BR,
    Lars

We use this same system with other sites that have hundreds of downloads without problem. Also, the script runs find for us here in the office when testing over the wire. We will look into a solution as obviously a lot of readers of this site are having issue with the setup.

We moved offices in November and had phone issues in tranfering the lines. This lasted several weeks and was a frustration for more than just you. We are still in business, and we do intend on shipping a new issue. I can’t give a timeline, because it’s not up to us. We’re waiting on Mazda (and have been for several months.)

We did not anticipate a Titanic economic meltdown that laid waste to a majority of independent magazines that were on the market and forced even GM and Chrysler into government ownership. We are still in business, however. Since November we’ve been waiting on Mazda to send us their ad copy so we can print and ship. It’s so simple, but is apparently so hard. Granted, like other car makers, their marketing department is in a state of panic like many others.
