Issue #1 Unboxing

Fmx5unboxing_022 We just received our hot-off-the-press copies of Forever MX-5! By Monday, we'll have thousands of our subscriber copies packed and dropped off at the post office in Kentucky. After that, it's up to the postman to deliver to your door. We know everyone is excited to get this first issue in their hands, but please allow a few weeks for the post office to get them all delivered. From our experience, that is really how long it can take.

What would help, is if subscribers could post replies into this entry letting us know when they received them and what part of the country they are in. That way, other subscribers could see how the flow is moving across the country.

Click the jump to see more photos of the unboxing! As you can see, Forever MX-5 Editor, Jeff Zurschmeide, is really excited to finally see the first issue in print!

If you want to subscribe today, you will still receive issue #1 as your first issue on subscription. We are going to do a second postal drop on April 11, 2008. Subscriptions that come in after that will automatically start with issue #2.

I received my magazine in this morning's mail (03/22). I live in Duncanville, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.

I have not had a chance to look closely at it. However, after a quick thumbing through it looks very good.

Bob

Got mine yesterday (3/24) !!!! AND my photos made it into the premier issue!! YAY! I am in Bear Creek, NC, for what it's worth.

My issue arrived (Indianapolis) on Wed., 3/20 (actually 2 copies, separately - Why??, I passed the 2nd copy along to a non-subscriber) If you guys can keep up this quality/quantity, it's a sure winner!

Forever MX-5 arrived in our mailbox in Boise, ID, on Tuesday, March 25.

Nancy and I are longtime subscribers to Miata Magazine, then to MazdaSport, and soon to be signed up for Forever MX-5. We were very impressed with this first issue.

Question 1: Does the "Mar 2008" on the label mean our carryover subscription expires with this issue?

Question 2: On the website subscription page, how can one designate to start (or renew) one's subscription starting with issue 2?

Got my issue today 3-28-08 in San Jose California
The issue is great and has some good ideas for my
2006 NC. Thanks for starting this up again!

My first copy arrived April 1 here in Calgary, Alberta - and that's not an April Fools joke!! Looking forward to many evenings of great reading in future issues.

I received my magazine April 3 in Ottawa Ontario, Canada

Got my issue today 3-28-08 in Portland, OR. Sorry it's taken me some tome to get to back to you to say thanks for a great mag. Imagine my surprise when I opened it to the Living de vita de Miata page and seeing my car in the foreground and my home club "Mt Hood Miata Club". Now I need about 10 more copies to share with all my friends. How about hooking me up Jeff?

She's baaack! This time as a contributing editor so she can spend more time in the mountains with her 8 horses, growing horde of collies and a sprinkling of grandkids!

    BRIAN GOODWIN
    Tech Editor
Nobody does technical setup on an MX-5 Miata better than Brian Goodwin. Now driving an NC, he'll continue to lay down the facts on track and road tech.

    SCOTT FISHER
    Lifestyle Editor
Like doing things with your car as well as to it? Our resident bon vivant is here to remind us that the right destination can be almost as much fun as the road.

    RYAN DOUTHIT
